5 year old saves father's life; very touching and funny
Here is a touching story about the impressive bond that a 5 year old girl has with her father. I highly recommend also watching the video within the article. The video is only 3 minutes and 40 seconds so it's pretty short. My husband and I cried, then laughed, then cried and laughed again. Amazing! π

Family friends' house fire
Our dear friends who have known me and my family for fourty plus years -> three members of that family recently had a devastating house fire and lost everything. They are like family to me and have been there for us through thick and thin. I will do my best to help them during this trying time. If you have space in your heart to also help, please do so. It doesn't have to be monetary -> positive thoughts and prayers work too. Thank you and much love. π

Wear eyeglasses without shame ππ€π

"So in a gesture of solidarity, I've been wearing mine all week to make this point: Whatever people say or think about you is none of your business. Just be yourself, authentically and unapologetically, the rest will work itself out," Tanja Babich, news anchor. ππ€π

I wish someone told me the glasses thing when I was a kid. I had very low self esteem and I cared way too much about what people thought! Proud to say that today I don't give a rats ass! I wear my glasses proudly and I also go without makeup regularly and without shame π€ππππππ
Thank you to my friend Lora for sharing this story with me. π€ππ

My favorite Blindspot quotes (TV show)
Blindspot, season 3, episode 16, Artful Dodge
"Did they finally approve my request for a therapy llama?"
~Rich Dotcom
Blindspot, season 3, episode 13, Warning Shot
"Doing the right thing doesn't always come with a reward."
~Kurt Weller
Blindspot, season 3, episode 13, Warning Shot
[Rich is a criminal in FBI custody].
Edgar Read: "You choose a hacker party I explicitly told you you couldn't go to? People's lives are at stake. Do you want to be off this team?"
Rich Dotcom: "Okay, first, somebody had to answer the phone, right? Two, never meet on the other guy's turf and C, I mean it worked, didn't it?"
Nas Kamal: "I can't believe I'm saying this, but I think he made the right call."
Rich Dotcom: "You've always been my favorite."
Blindspot, season 3, episode 10, Balance of Might
"You know what it feels like to be let down again and again by the people who are supposed to care about you? ... You suck it up for the people you love and you show up. ... You don't get to say no because you don't feel like it, because it's not convenient for you."
~Blake Crawford
Blindspot, season 2, episode 12, Devil Never Even Lived
"Feelings aren't like memories, you can't just pull them out of a file. I think that they have to be earned."
~Jane Doe
^^^^^^
FBI story musts [in good humor]: π€£
1. Slap table hard in an attempt to get answers.
2. "Freeze! FBI." [But does anyone running away ever actually stop? Nope, in fact they run faster].
3. The look.
4. Someone must be forced or thrown through a window. Bonus points for landing on a glass table or skidding through dirt - depending on direction. Even more points if the window is not glass.
